Notes

'Sun Cascade' yellow iris (Iris pseudacorus 'Sun Cascade') is a perennial for rain gardens and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. The double yellow flowers have brown marks on the falls and bloom in spring and again in summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. This clumping plant grows fast and reaches 24 to 60 inches tall.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Golden club, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
