Notes

'Variegata' yellow iris (Iris pseudacorus 'Variegata') is a clumping perennial for rain gardens and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It grows fast and reaches 24 to 60 inches tall, with flowers in spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room, since clumps spread 18 to 24 inches wide.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Sedge, Meadowsweet, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
