Notes

'Sun Valley Border' rose (Rosa 'Sun Valley Border') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows 39 to 59 inches tall with a bushy habit and dark green leaves. Fragrant, medium yellow flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Casa Blanca lily, Jackmanii clematis, and Jacob’s ladder.
