Notes

'Sunbird' coneflower (Echinacea 'Sunbird') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Yellow-orange flowers open from early to late summer and have a fragrant scent. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Garlic chives, and Kansas peony.
