Notes

'Sunburst' tulip (Tulipa 'Sunburst') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The yellow blooms are flushed red and open from early to late spring. N. Dames bred it. It grows about 12 inches tall, so it suits the front of a bed.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Indian grass, and Black Beauty peony.
