Notes

'Sunflower' tulip (Tulipa 'Sunflower') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Its yellow flowers open from early to late spring, so they brighten the garden for a long stretch. Plant the bulbs in groups for a bold block of color, and cut a few stems for a vase. J. Ruyter bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Delphinium, and Cytherea peony.
