Notes

'Sunny Anniversary' glossy abelia (Abelia grandiflora 'Sunny Anniversary') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems carry fragrant pink and white flowers in spring, summer, and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Foxglove.
