Notes
'Sunset Velvet' wood sorrel (Oxalis spiralis 'Sunset Velvet') is a deciduous plant for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun. Its shamrock-like leaves start in gold, orange, pink, and coppery-yellow. They fade to lime green in summer and turn deep magenta in autumn. Deep yellow flowers sit on coral stems just above the foliage in spring and summer.
Pairs well with White bigleaf hydrangea, Labyrinth dahlia, and Asiatic jasmine.
