Notes

'Sunstar' rose (Rosa 'Sunstar') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Alexander Dickson II bred it in 1921.

Pairs well with Smooth hydrangea, Nelly Moser clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
