'Super Star' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Super Star') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. It grows 12 to 15 inches tall and 15 to 18 inches wide. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Spotted beebalm, Blue wild indigo, and Feather reed grass.
