Notes

'Supreme Cantaloupe' coneflower (Echinacea 'Supreme Cantaloupe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The double flowers are the color of ripe cantaloupe and smell sweet, so try them beside pink, magenta, and blue blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Yarrow, and Bee balm.
