Notes
'Svitlana' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Svitlana') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, fragrant, bright pink double flowers open in spring. The strong stems make an upright bush that rarely needs support. Gorobets bred it in 1976.
Pairs well with Blue sage, Kentucky bluegrass, and Alaska violet.
