Notes

'Sweelinck' tulip (Tulipa 'Sweelinck') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring on stems about 10 inches tall. The outside of each bloom is carmine red edged in sulphur. The inside is sulphur yellow with a golden yellow base, and the leaves are mottled.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Nodding onion, and Cytherea peony.
