Notes

'Sylver' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sylver') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large double white blooms open in a rose form in early summer. The plants stand about 32 inches tall on strong stems. Carl G. Klehm bred it in 1968.

Pairs well with New England aster, Lupine, and Royal fern.
