Notes

'Sylvia' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Sylvia') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms from early to late spring. You grow it for fresh eating, and the fruit ripens in mid season. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, PowWow White coneflower, and Paprika yarrow.
