Notes
'Sylviane' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sylviane') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in mid to late spring. Broad white outer petals surround smaller pale yellow petals in the center, which fade to pure white. Some flowers show crimson lines in the center.
Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
