Notes

'Taconis' rose (Rosa 'Taconis') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the glossy foliage looks good between bloom times. Gerrit De Ruiter bred it in 1968.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Creeping thyme.
