Notes

'Tangerine Dream' coneflower (Echinacea 'Tangerine Dream') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Orange petals surround a dark brown cone, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by. It tolerates drought and is fragrant.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, Bridal Bouquet peony, and Empress Wu hosta.
