Notes

'Techny Spider' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Techny Spider') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Yellow flowers with a green throat are fragrant and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Musk mallow, Japanese spirea, and Foxtail barley.
