Notes
'Terracotta' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Terracotta') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The flowers open peachy yellow and age to coppery bronze above mounds of ferny, aromatic foliage. Shear it back hard after the first bloom to keep it tidy and encourage reblooming. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Showy milkweed, Autumn Gold maidenhair tree, and Foxtail barley.
