Notes

'New Vintage Violet' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Violet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It holds its flower color longer into summer and blooms again well. Shear it back hard after the first bloom to keep it tidy and encourage more flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Shasta daisy, Bee balm, and Blue grama.
