Notes

'New Vintage Red' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Red') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It holds its flower color longer into summer and re-flowers well. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Shear it back hard after the first bloom to keep it clean and encourage more flowers.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Shasta daisy, Bee balm, and Blue grama.
