Notes

'Texas Centennial' rose (Rosa 'Texas Centennial') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting, and it also grows well in containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The red blend blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Archibald F. Watkins bred it in 1935.

Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Fountain grass, and The President clematis.
