Notes

'The Doctor' rose (Rosa 'The Doctor') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has a bushy habit with light green leaves and fragrant, medium pink blooms. Flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Frederick Huber Howard bred it in 1936.

Pairs well with Spotted beebalm, Indian grass, and Arrowwood viburnum.
