Notes

'The Sun' rose (Rosa 'The Sun') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The orange-pink blooms are fragrant and attract bees. They open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Samuel Darragh bred it in 1974.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Nelly Moser clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
