Notes

'Theodosius' peony (Paeonia 'Theodosius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double yellow flowers have blurred lime-green edges and a strong fragrance. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plants stand upright, so you do not need to stake them.

Pairs well with Creeping phlox, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
