'Thomas Affleck' rose (Rosa 'Thomas Affleck') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has fragrant deep pink blooms from late spring to early autumn, and bees visit them. George Michael Shoup bred it in 1996.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blanket flower, and Fountain grass.
