Notes

'Thunderbolt' lily (Lilium 'Thunderbolt') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Apricot-orange flowers open from early to late summer on stems that reach 60 to 72 inches tall. The blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Ox-eye daisy, The President clematis, and Buffalo grass.
