Notes

'Transavia' tulip (Tulipa 'Transavia') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Vertuco bred it. The yellow flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 22 inches tall. The outer petals have green tips and green spots, and the inside glows buttercup yellow near the base.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Immortality iris, and Ernest Markham clematis.
