Notes

'Tropicana' rose (Rosa 'Tropicana') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Mathias Tantau, Jr bred it. The orange-red blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. The bush grows upright with dark green leaves, and it may get blackspot, so give it good air flow.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Boxwood, and Stargazer lily.
