'Twilight Magic' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia 'Twilight Magic') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It can reach about 12 to 14 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide. It blooms in summer and again in autumn, and it tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Agapanthus, and Orange daylily.
