Unicum tulip

Notes

'Unicum' tulip (Tulipa praestans 'Unicum') is a bulb for borders, containers, and spring color. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The flowers are capsicum red with a small light yellow base and blue black anthers. The leaves are variegated, so the plant adds interest even before the blooms open. It grows about 14 inches tall.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Picture peony, and Sedge.
