Notes

'Upstar' tulip (Tulipa 'Upstar') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant blue-pink blooms open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. J.F. van den Berg & Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Jacqueline tulip, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Jack Frost Siberian bugloss.
