Notes

'Uptick Red' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Uptick Red') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Plants reach 12 to 24 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Arizona Red Shades blanket flower, and Hidcote lavender.
