Notes

'Urara' rose (Rosa 'Urara') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink blooms open from early to late summer and have a sweet scent. Bees visit the flowers. Hiroshi Hirabayashi bred it in 1999.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Japanese forest grass, and Oakleaf hydrangea.
