Notes

'Variegata' pineapple mint (Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata') is an herb for borders, food gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 35 to 59 inches, so give it room or edge the bed. Fragrant leaves and summer blooms draw butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Tomato, Broccoli, and Candy carrot.
