Notes

'Veribest' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Veribest') is a perennial for borders and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers have crimson streaks and flecks. They open in late spring to early summer on compact, upright plants. George Hollis bred it in 1907.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Black Parrot tulip, and Fragrant sumac.
