Notes

'Vertissimo' garlic (Allium sativum 'Vertissimo') is a vegetable for containers, low maintenance gardens, and food gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. Give it full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. The plant is fragrant and matures in 60 days.

Pairs well with Basil, Ancho pepper, and Honeoye strawberry.
