Notes
'Vestucius' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Vestucius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The mid-season flowers are the Japanese type and are light Tyrian pink. Cream to pink staminodes sit in the center of each bloom. The plant is medium in size and spreads, so give it some room.
Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Stargazer lily, and Cinnamon fern.
