Notes
'Viette' baby's breath (Gypsophila paniculata 'Viette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall with an arching habit and pink blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Cytherea peony, Blue grama, and Little Beauty tulip.
