Notes
'Danfestar' baby's breath (Gypsophila paniculata 'Danfestar') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy or loamy soil. White flowers appear in late spring, summer, and autumn on arching stems, and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought and salt, so it suits tough sites.
Pairs well with Coral Sunset peony, Pyrethrum, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
