Notes
'Violet's Pride' rose (Rosa 'Violet's Pride') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and fragrant gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The lavender flowers have magenta centres and a fruity, grapefruit-like scent. The color looks more pinkish in hot climates. Christian Bedard bred it, and it blooms again and again.
Pairs well with Cotoneaster, Daffodil, and Autumn fern.
