Notes

'Violetta' tartarian aster (Aster 'Violetta') is a perennial for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 47 to 59 inches tall and attracts butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.
