Notes

'Virgo' matricaria (Tanacetum parthenium 'Virgo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Pure white button-like blooms appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumping plant grows fast and has a fragrant scent.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Japanese forest grass, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Pink.
