Notes

'Vive la France' rose (Rosa 'Vive la France') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant red blend blooms appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and Charles Mallerin bred it in 1944.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Lilac, Switchgrass, and Casa Blanca lily.
