Notes

'Volcano' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Volcano') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The flowers are fragrant, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Plants stand 35 to 47 inches tall, so you may want to stake them in windy spots.

Pairs well with Nymph gladiolus, Montbretia, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
