Notes

'Vulcan' daffodil (Narcissus 'Vulcan') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are vivid yellow with a cup-shaped orange center, and they hold their color in strong sun. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Red Charm peony, and Wormwood.
