'Walhelivor' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'Walhelivor') is a perennial that grows 12 to 18 inches tall and wide. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part to full shade. Creamy white flowers open from early to late spring. Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart so the clumps can fill in. The blooms add early color to a shady spot.
Pairs well with First Blush hosta, Western maidenhair fern, and Hobblebush.
