Notes

'Weippe' peony (Paeonia 'Weippe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The medium pink flowers have paler centers and darker pink backs. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plants reach about 35 inches tall and spread, so give them support.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Little Beauty tulip.
