Notes

'Westerland' rose (Rosa 'Westerland') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The frilly apricot blooms smell sweet and fruity, and they fill a vase with perfume. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1976, and you can prune it as a large shrub.

Pairs well with Sweet William, The President clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
